Click and Collect

What is Click and Collect?

Click and Collect is a fast, convenient service that allows you to purchase online and collect your order for free from one of our store locations across Ireland.

Why use Click and Collect?

Here at Compu b we understand that our customers are not always available to meet a courier, we also understand that sometimes the person purchasing is not always the receiver. Click and Collect takes the hassle out of shopping online, with live stock levels, secure payment and collection available within 4 hours*.

How do I use Click and Collect?

STEP 1 - On the product page or shopping cart, choose the option for ‘Collect in Store’. You’ll see a list of available collection locations for you entire order. Choose which ever location you’d prefer to collect from.

STEP 2  - Once your payment is made you’ll receive an Order Confirmation email. Our team in store will reserve your products and ensure your order is ready to go. You will receive a second “Ready for Pickup’ email typically within 4 hours* of placing your order.

STEP 3 - Collect your order in store. Please ensure you bring a copy of your 'Ready for Pickup' email as well as a valid form of Photographic ID (passport / Student Card / Driver’s Licence etc.).

How much does it cost?

Compu b Click and Collect is a completely free service, all you pay is the price of your order.

Can I reserve my order but pay in store?

Click and Collect is only available with full payment online at this time. If you would like to place an order for in store payment, please contact us directly

When can I collect my order?

We aim to have any order that is 'in stock' ready for collection within 4 hours of when they are placed. Please note this is subject to change and depending on availability. If an order is place after 4pm it may not be ready until the next working day, please do not call in to collect until you have received the 2nd ‘Ready for Collection’ email. If your item has a status of 'limited stock', please call the store prior to ordering as there may be a chance that it is not available in store.

What happens if I am early for my collection?

Unfortunately we will not be able to hand out any Click and Collect orders early, please ensure you do not arrive in to store until you have received confirmation your order is ready to collect.

Where can I collect my order?

When you arrive in store ask any member of staff or visit the main payment desk and we’ll get your Click and Collect order for you.

Can I amend or cancel my order online / in store?

If you created an account when placing your order online you can cancel your order prior to collection. If you would like to amend your order please contact us via the contact form on this website or by emailing our customer service team. 

If you see any items in store that you’d like to add to your order please bring them up to the payment desk with you and we’ll happily add them to the order. These extra items will need to be paid for by cash or card at the till and cannot be added to the online payment already taken.

Can I buy accidental damage cover in store when collecting my order?

Compu b Cover is available to all retail customers who purchase any Apple product in our stores. We’re happy to add this to your Click and Collect order, payment will need to be taken by cash or card at the till.

What do I need to bring with me when I collect?

Please bring a digital or printed copy of your 'Ready for Pickup' email as well as a form of photographic ID. We will not be able to fulfill any Click and Collect order without both of these items.

I did not recieve my order confirmation email/ ready for pickup email.

Order confirmation emails can take up to 30 minutes to arrive. Please check your spam/junk folder if you don't have it by then. Ready for pick up emails are typically sent within 4 business hours* of your order being placed. If you haven't got your email after these times, please give us a call or email and our team will be happy to look into it for you.

What happens if my order (or any part of my order) is not available?

Our stock feed reads live from what is available in store and in our warehouse. In the rare circumstance that your order is not available we will contact you directly as soon as possible to offer an alternative, refund or back order.

Is there a collection deadline?

We are happy to hold any Click and Collect order for up to 5 working days. If an order has not been collected in this time frame, a member of our customer service team will contact you directly to inform you that your order has been released and your payment refunded. If you place an order and know you will be delayed for collection please ensure you contact us as soon as possible.

The item I want to order says "limited stock", can I still order?

Absoloutely, this status means that the item is most likely in-store. However, in rare circumstances where the item is not available, we will contact you and offer an alternative, a refund or let you know once it has arrived.
